Birdie, Kittydog, and Puppy are prime examples why internet fame at such a young age just f*cks up a child's perception of things. And ultimately affecting their adulthood heavily in the future. I feel for them in a way that their childhood was essentially robbed by the internet and turned into something awful and now they're so addicted to the fame and the attention they don't know how to function as a normal person anymore. Although some factors aren't a result of their early online fame, but a lot of it is and it's just so heartbreaking. This is why I implore parents to carefully monitor their child's internet access, I personally think kids that young shouldn't be online at all but if you do allow it please be a responsible parent and be there with them. Sometimes a little bit of monitoring is necessary for your child's mental health and safety online.

I wish I wasn't allowed on the internet at the ripe age of 9 but I was luckily it didn't screw me up too bad? Either way if you think it's too excessive then alright! If you ever have kids (I'd understand if not I hate the idea myself) you can just make sure they're not getting themselves into trouble! I hate how the "being a minor" defense is used recently. Its like a switch for them. They can do things that are obviously not ok for a minor to be doing, and its "let people enjoy things." Then suddenly, when someone calls them out for something, they pull the minor card. If this continues, this will only hurt people who are minors and victims of crimes that target minors

Twitter knows no significance for their actions. They use labels and identities as weapons for internet drama rather then truly caring about them. The worst part is how it shields them from criticism that relates to their own content/actions. I really don't think Antoons calling the "period blood" thing out was weird in any way like people made it out to be. Puppy had claimed to be biologically male, however that would mean she's incapable of having periods. His point was objectively correct around the board. I grew up in the MW2 age, where your age did not matter at all bcs no matter what you were a target. People were assholes, but it was fun. I cannot tell you how many times i'd been harassed, called out, or just downright bullied by ppl in my age group or higher online, it's NORMAL. So I really don't see it fit for anybody to pull the minor card to discredit backlash, because we have seen how that plays out. Look at most of the big "Influencers" on Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok today, they all started as minors, did dumb shit as minors, got excused for it... and now they'll continue to do dumb immature shit for the entirety of their career. All because it's wrong to criticize a minor.

People treat the situations of “kid drawing nsfw” all wrong. They immediately attack them as if they just said something racist. The truth is you have to handle this much more maturely. Kids who make things like this are often victims of grooming/sex abuse, or just generally have an unhealthy porn addiction. Report their content, and if you want to tell them something, just be serious and stern, like: “Hey, I know you’re going through a time in your life where you’re curious, but you are putting yourself at risk by creating this content at this age, and its something you’ll possibly regret”
@lifeisadrag7705 Жыл бұрын
I agree however..I don't think it's necessarily means they have an addiction depending on the age. Like teenagers clearly have their hormones. She was very shy, socially awkward said very little and in a voice barely above a whisper but was sweet and spent much of her time drawing in a notebook or on an iPad . I was sitting on the porch drinking tea when she walked up and handed me a little sheet of paper, it was a portrait she’d drawn of me. (caleb has to throw out a wizard warrior toy he was given because Magic Bad and jehovah won't like it, Sophia is sad because she has no kid friends her age so they try awkwardly saddling her with a teenager from church) ...so yeah, she didn't go out and touch grass and network with people because unless there were other congregation families nearby that wasn't *allowed.* I'm guessing her mum had no idea what the hell a twitter was and everything downspiralled from there, that's without getting into "not-straight person existing in JW".

It was a combination of her parents, not giving her enough attention and being nuts, the comunity, instead of confronting her, they pampered her And gave her the attention she wanted, but not in a way that she needed. And... Let's face it, She was old enough! If she was aware of herself, and intelligent enough to take her own life into her own hands and rather than become terminally online, go outside, literally touch grass, go do sports or something... None of this would have happened. And yeah, maybe being autistic plays a role in that... I wouldn't really know. I don't know much about autism, accept for some conversations with an autistic classmate, and my psychologist when they told me about it, and that I May be slightly autistic, before ruling that possibility out.
