This video is great. I too loved my time on Kodiak. My son in law is in the coast guard and was stationed on Kodiak. My granddaughter was born there. I love the pics. My daughter is who taught me to quilt while there.

Many, many years ago, I had a friend at Whitman College who was from Kodiak. I had no idea of the beauty of that place (in lovely weather yet). Those beaches! What an experience!

I was in Alaska about the same time. Went on a cruise with my husband. Our weather was very foggy but it was beautiful anyway!! Fun video and glad you enjoyed it.

Looked like a fun week visiting Alaska. My son would have loved the beach combing, he visits Idaho, Eastern Oregon, and Nevada to rock hound. My favorites of his finds are Picture Jasper and garnets.

Reminds me of our trips to Beaver Island, Michigan….we would walk the beech just about every morning and evening looking for beech glass. Blue and green were very sparse.
