I'm sorry, but I just don't even think a reboot would have worked in this day and age even if woke was 100% completely out of it. The original had six kids (who somehow managed not to kill each other), a wife who did nothing, and a housekeeper, who all survived off the income of an architect. That idea could barely float in the 1960s. It is absolutely laughable in 2020s. The real "Brady Bunch" ... Wife would be out of the house shopping out of bordom because the housekeeper did all the work. The kids would have been constantly fighting because six kids in a three bedroom house just doesn't really work. Nobody has their own space. Husband would be out of the house constantly chasing that paycheck to pay for this fiasco and the housekeeper would have quit after the first two weeks because you can never catch up laundry with 8 people in the house and the kids would leave every room messy because they have a housekeeper to pick up after them. The concept of a housekeeper would have been new to the girls, but the boys would have grown up with one. Thus would have not cleaned up after themselves. I can only imagine how nasty the bathrooms would be each morning as six kids rushed to get ready for school. Once the housekeeper quite, "Mom" would have bailed. Divorced the architect, took half his #$%^. Because raising three girls is rough. Trying to raise three more boys without help from Dad managing the herd is impossible. Dad would then have to sell the house, downsize to a two bedroom apartment, and pay his wife alimony until he dies of a heart attack at the age of 60. And of course since this is the "Brady Bunch" that means the architect adopted the girls so they would have his name so know he is paying child support on three kids he didn't help conceive. "And that is the way we became broke AF. Broke AF. Broke AF. That is the way we became broke AF."

I live in the DMV, and 15-20 years ago Fred Grandy (yes that Fred Grandy aka Gopher) had a local talk show. One year he was broadcasting from a west coast political meeting and he interviewed some people in the entertainment industry. He had a comedian on (don't remember his name) and he said that Hollywood is not one huge political monolith. But as you said too many who are on the libertarian/conservative side stay silent for fear of losing their livelihood.
