I love the Grinch, he's the most funniest Dr. Seuss character ever, and besides he's hated Christmas his entire life, to be honest about it, I don't blame him, I do as well, but for many different reasons, 1, Santa Claus gave me a lump of coal every single year, and I did nothing to deserve it, 2, it's all about the birth of Mr. Stink Christ, and also it kinda sucks, but don't get me wrong, my heart is the size of a little bug, (what I mean is, my heart is very, very small) I got the same heart the Grinch has, you know what I mean.

Carrey was all over the map with this. Sometimes his portrayal was similar to Karloff’s Grinch. But other scenes it was more like he was trying to imitate Edward G. Robinson. Then other scenes he was talking like W.C. Fields. Then others where he seemed to be trying to do all three at once. I would have preferred he dropped anchor and settled on just one.
