What i like about this version of the song is that unlike the OG one, which seems to be from the perspective of someone calling out the Grinch for his actions, this one is instead the perspective of the Grinch himself, telling himself how mean and disgusting he is, but embracing it rather than self hatred. That's a genius way to rework the song! But i love both versions, all the same.
