The way he kets go the pigeon once she agrees to go wirh him is a class act. Anyone else would have lifted his hands and let ut gently fly into the sky but MY marlin just lets go off the pigeon. The sub text? Your work is over, i have me a lady to take care of. I can watch the scene a billion times and still be fascinated at the truth of the action. No pretence no affectation just let go. What was the stuff marlon wascmade of? This isnt just acting or even just living.. Its a depth of understanding of lufe of lifetines if living. Where did you go when you left here my friend? I want to touch your soul.

great analysis....if you watch Marlon Brando's interview on The Dick Cavett show (it is on KZbin in several parts) you can see that he was WAY ahead of his time! With all his faults, he was in fact a very intelligent - and wise - man.
