Hi, when I try to use the pen tool it just creates a blue line with a square in the middle on my video, so I can't draw. I think it is trying to create a mask or something. Help on how to get it to draw a normal white rectangle? I also cant change the mode of my pen tool, I can only click on it. I am running Adob Premier Pro cc 2019

You have to hold down the pen tool and select rectangle from the menu. Then on your playback monitor, just click and drag anywhere on the screen
