Majaz seemed an enigma due to the life he lived, the talent he had and the extremities he bordered. Dr Akhtar has broken down that quite well with his analysis!

Mr. Professor, you have rather misminded a quotation from William Shakespeare's drama- A MID SUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM...May I take the opportunity of quoting it.....THE LINATIC. THE LOVER AND THE POET HAVE SUCH SEETHING BRAIN.....ARE ALL IMAGINATION COMPACT.........I personally believe that this was the situation why Majaz was always obsessed by the ideas of death....Something most commonplace with every creative genius....In this context I would also refer to American poetess Emily Dickinson's poem...I HEARD A FLY BUZZ WHEN I DIED....I happen to be the grandson of SHAKESPEARE E HIND AGHA HASHRA KASHMIRI. My father AGHA JAMEEL KASHMIRI'S death anniversary falls on 14 October .....and I have nostalgic state of mind about DEATH...
