Hello! Is it possible to make offset for matrix and redshift tag custom objects? It's probably doesn't work in this way like you show. Maybe there is another option?

Is there a way to animate scale or position with this set up? When I keyframe my Y scale in the coordinates tab the animation does not clone. I tried the bend and it works. If the clone doesn't use coordinate scaling is there a modifier I can use for scale?

If you want move the original object, and that be reflected in the cloner, uncheck "fix Clone" in the object tab of the cloner. The Same applies for the scale attribute too.

If you are watching this and scratching your head because it doesn't work, make sure you are NOT using render instances mode in cloner.

The step effector doesn't do anything when animating the position of the single object. Any suggestion?

I'm not sure what you mean, can you provide more detail?

@@DIGITALMEAT Well if I use the regular coordinates to animate an object, it doesn't regard this animation when using the cloner. For example if I have a sphere that I animate the Y-coordinate of, it doesn't play this animation when using the cloner. The object just stays in place. Another question: When using the step effector and a grid in the cloner, I noticed that the step effector only offsets the animation for each "row" of the cloner grid. Is there a way to offset the animation for each object inside the gread instead? Just like it behaves using the random effector, just in an order. Cheers & thanks!

@@jgrobshaeusser996 - Ok, to get the base animation to bleed through to the cloner, just select the cloner and uncheck "Fix Clone". As for the step effecter only effecting each "Row", it doesn't, it effects each clone in the order of it's index, you can see this quite clearly if you increase the step effecters "time offset"

@@DIGITALMEAT hey I had the same problem, but changing to "instance" mode instead of "multi-instances" makes my performance a lot worse, isn't there any way to achieve this effect with the multi intances mode? I have to make a work with lots of clones
