@@karlifetz I know I came through like an asshole, don't get me wrong, you got some dope ideas, just that some of your renders got a weird look to them like they're old 90's graphics but not exactly... idk maybe it's the skin material you're using... :) hope that was more constructive than my first comment :) yea I really am an asshole sometimes for no reason and need to work on that...

As of now I have three full Cinema4D project files of previous renders to dissect and learn from available, multiple full length process videos of certain artworks, some commentated and some without, Photoshop Files and so on. I plan on adding even more exclusive tutorials and things like materials etc.

about what you said in 16:00 - they very recently added light linking for fog volumes! read the most recent octane patch notes, not sure if it's live yet or will be live soon but regardless yeah, it wasnt a feature until very recently

Cinema 4D R21 is best with DAZ3D? I've been having so many export problems
@karlifetz2 жыл бұрын
What export problems? Doesnt really matter what version I think.
@imofox63802 жыл бұрын
@@karlifetz i will write this here incase anyone else comes across the same problem, when I merge a DAZ character into cinema 4D the textures don’t attach (even with mtl file) this is obj - but when I just dragged in the file it all worked fine… but now I’m working on R21 anyway, will try on R25 eventually. Also love your work!!! Appreciate the tutorials, can’t wait to see what you create next.
@karlifetz2 жыл бұрын
@@imofox6380 So you're saying when you drag in the File it works but when you click to open it, it doesn't? That is very strange and I never came across that.
@imofox63802 жыл бұрын
@@karlifetz when I try to merge the obj file into cinema 4d it doesn’t attach the texture files and comes up with the error when test rendering. But when I dragged the obj file in it didn’t do this. Yes I spent a lot of time trying to figure this out going crazy, I’m not sure why. This happened on mac and windows for me.
