The prob with that technique tho is that you can still see the full square corners around the image of the card (which has curved corners) so it would be better to create a path in Illustrator (same size as the image), import it into C4D and extrude it so the geometry corners match the image and alpha channel. Or you can juts apply it to a plain and not a cube (which has sides and extra polygons)

Nice tutorial you got here ;) kind've helped me a bit with texturing since i'm a total nub from it, but i have a question. "Where do you get the Top and back layers of an image, do you just search it up on google and find a result or do you have a method on how to find the top and back of the image", If you could answer back that would be highly appreciated :)
