Great tutorial! But how would I swap between UV textures like the bottle and can texture? I watched his video on changing textures but it doesn't solve that problem. I can't UV unwrap a lathe object, but if I convert to editable then I lose the entire transition effect. Anyone have an idea how to do this?
@benpanfil35144 жыл бұрын
For anyone wondering I couldn't figure it out for the project I was working on (instagram.com/p/CBD0nSoH98r/). I ended up using the pose morph instead which worked fine for my purposes, but I really would like to learn if my original question can be answered.

@paulkingdesign59286 жыл бұрын
Trying to solve this same issue
@michamlodozeniec63466 жыл бұрын
@@paulkingdesign5928 Probably your 2 original splines (Can and Bottle) are drawn opposite way (first point of Can spline is near to last point of bottle spline, so it means inheritance effector morphs positions between Can point nr 1 and Bottle point nr 150). To fix that select one of splines and go to Mesh / Spline / Reverse sequence. Hope it will work. GL

@Thror3024 жыл бұрын
You probably figured this out by now if you were bothered. But, for the benefit of anyone with the same question, the way I would do that is to create both textures. Then use a 3d gradient on the alpha with the y+ and - set to the same size as the falloff he used. Then keyframe it to match the falloff. There may be a more elegant solution but that ought to work.
