Use this Volume Builder and Mograph Fields Technique to cut your objects into smaller sections. Put different materials on these sections for more diversity in your Textures and Materials. Your original object will look 320% more beautiful now. Simple math.

Merci beaucoup beaucoup ! Volume Builder m'était tellement obscure, tu m'ouvres un champs des possibles incroyable ! Je mets ton site de tuto de côté, c'est super intéressant et bien expliqué. Bonne continuation :)

I shared the buddhas head pendulum scene file. But this exact buddha head from this youtube video thumbnail I havent shared. But lots of other scenefiles. Please not, that in the scenefiles I can't share all materials because sometimes I don't have the copyright😉.

@@3DBONFIRE got it. I will consider joining. I am a new subscriber though so I have only seen two videos. I appreciate your pace and clarity in the videos I've seen. Also- I recently picked up Cycles and redshift ... but not Octane. It would be great if there were a tag that could magically transfer data from one to the other because I think it is difficult to translate material settings well.

@@calebweintraub1 Well I love Octane and everything I do in my materials is tranferable to other renderers. Basically its just plugin in the different maps into your shader. Yes, such a magic button would be awesome;-).

this looks amazing!! does it only work on certain kinds of models though? when i do this to my model, even when I lower the voxels, it decimates it, most of the model is completely vanished. do you know why it could be?? thanks :)
@3DBONFIRE
@3DBONFIRE 3 жыл бұрын
It depends on the size of your object. If it dissapears, just lower voxel and point size until you see something👍

@@3DBONFIRE thanks for replying so fast!! i figured out the problem, my object is totally hollow and it can't work on objects with no thickness 👍
@jangerman
@jangerman 3 жыл бұрын
@@rubysnell6755 That's not true! The Volume Builder really need a fully closed object to work with. Adding thickness basically does that. But just start with a mesh which has no holes and it will work fine.
