Hey chinfat, just wanted to write up a quick thank you for this and other tutorial videos. This video specifically taught me the ins-and-outs of my camera for filmmaking application more than any other tutorial. I have also watched your videos on compression, premiere pro, and after effects editing. They all helped me to learn more about filmmaking than anything else, and have served as my "film school." I just completed the 4th episode of my web series and am proud of it. This is due in large part to your videos. You always discuss the minor inconveniences that come along with every part of the process and how to trouble shoot. This is why your videos helped for practical application more than any other, and also why I continue to return to the same videos for insights I didn't pick up on the first time. Thank you again for making tutorials for people who are actively creating films and using your tutorials in the real world.

I love the 6300 for video, great 4k image. I use the Sony 16mm lens. With an Ikan Beholder gimbal I have a pretty good steady cam. Using my 11 foot boom pole I get respectable elevated establishing shots.

Hell yeah, this camera is so capable of. Pairing with nice lens and using s-log you can get such a cinematic and crisp image. I shot my entire sci-fi short film using this baby :) it's on my channel ;)

My shutter speed won't go any lower than 1/250. What can I change to have more control over shutter speed?

What camera are you using? Are you shooting at 24 fps? If you are shooting at 120 fps, the only standard shutter speed is 1/240.

@@chinfat Hey, thanks for the reply. I have an a6300. I was eventually able to figure it out. In movie mode, I was set to Manual exposure HFR, but I eventually found how to scroll through all the exposure settings to find Manual exposure without HFR
