Watching this on a massive UHD Dolby Vision monitor. The color depth looks similar (of course slight variations in daylight considered), but depth in contrast looks slightly wider in gamut with the 2.8K, there is also slightly less noise. In other words it looks like a native 2k vs 1080p comparison, but the dynamic range on both looks very full and vibrancy is great. I suppose if you want the more clinical look the crop mood is good, where if you want a film emulation the full sensor readout is also good. This could bode well for certain lens pairings, which is nice given it is all on the same body.

NIce video,. Honestly, the 1080p looks better because it doesn't have that wierd bluish harsh pop thing that I have noticed on my 5D as well. hat build did you use, which is more stable, Duanne's or Crop Mood on the 5D MKIII

Is the only video recording mode that uses the whole sensor the 1080p mode, or is there another one? Great video, I’m thinking about getting one of these as a B-cam to my a6400 and would like to get a full frame look in video.

1080p is the only mode that uses the full sensor with, but the image is pixel binned. Whereas the other modes are one-to-one pixel. But due to that it crops into the sensor.

Hello men, It is very interesting your video, can you please do a proper workflow video for the EOS M 5.2K from MLV to Premier, almost everyone uses Davinci, I have problems de-sequezing it properply if you have any tip or trick would be awesome.

@@khanceptbelal thanks. I've been playing around with ML for over a year. I've got the t4i and t5i and have gone on a search for the best lenses. I keep hearing people doing 1080p and upscaling... Neat video blows my mind with it's quality. I purchased a 5d Miii but was lied to about the shutter count and sent it back. Dude said 25k at most it was closer to 125k. Never picked another one up after.

The camera can easily handle 150k actuations. If you are using it for video and not photography, you will not be using the shutter release that much.@@dbuckfanplays7991
