Cinema Paradiso: Love Theme - Piano & Melodica

Nuovo Cinema Paradiso is one of my most loved Italian movies. I have seen this movie several times and was always touched. The beautiful "Love Theme" was written by Andrea Morricone, the son of Ennio Morricone.
This version here contains three parts.
1. Piano theme: lovely, simple and very reduced (played like written in the scores)
2. Melody with Melodica and piano accompaniment (arr. by myself)
3. Piano theme: pathetic, expressive more powerful (arr. by myself)

Thank you very much! I love every of these string instruments, but as a single instrument none of them would get the sound I search. The Omnisphere Adagio Expressivo is wonderful, but the reaction time is too slow. The Ivory II pad is one of the best for live playing, but it sounds more like an anolog pad. The Session strings sound like strings, you can adjust the noise of the bows, but they sound a bit too harsh. So the mix of all of them is most pleasant to me. Best regards Dave

You could lower the attack for faster reaction in omnisphere , you know ? ;) ....You can do ANYTHING to the sound in this incredible VST !

Hi Mario, for every tune I try different piano libraries and choose the one that feels best for this particular tune. Alicia's Keys has a wonderful long sustain which is amazing for slower tunes and Ivory is very versatile. I bought "True Keys" American (by Vl Lab) last week which sounds very good! So it depends on the playing situation. Best regards Dave

Hi stefaroma, I use Corel VideoStudio, but there is no function to split the screen. I do it by overlaying two videos, which is sometimes a bit difficult. Best regards, Dave
