Obi-Wan Kenobi tpain was on top when he first came out, first guy to use autotune the way he did. When other bigger artist started using auto tune he became the target for “singers with no talent” because of it. He has one of the most beautiful voices tho so ironic.

That is his real voice. People don't remember why T-Pain started using auto tune. It was because back then rnb singers were a dime a dozen. Rnb was dying very few rnb singers survived. Everyone of them needed a gimmick to survive. T-Pain back then tried to get a record deal using his normal voice but back in those days their were too many rnb singers. The last generation of those who were classically trained and the last of those who came from the church. So T-Pain was just a kid in a crowd of singers. You needed something unique to sell. Soon T-Pain found auto tune and it paid off big time. The same songs that he wanted the record label exec's to release and they refused. With an exaggerated dash of auto tune his album was released. And the albums sold. But when the auto tune bubble burst everybody blamed T-Pain some called him the father of auto tune. That it was his fault the state of singing. Unlike other singers he could not deny utilizing auto tune because it was very in your face (auto tune) with each of his hit songs. He accepted responsibility for using auto tune but the more responsibility he took the more they blamed him. A couple of years ago he tried showing people that he could sing live without auto tune but nobody cared. They still blame him for auto tune. That is why his character is monster. And his clues explain how he felt abandoned by the industry.

1. I watched this because I liked Korean show. This show is shit. Singing part is too short to even build atmosphere you cant even hear the singer most of the time because of all the background noise/backup singers and choreography is too flashy. I liked korean show even though I dont know almost anyone from there but still I was rooting for the contestants there and I cant seem to bother in this show. I was hoping for a great show made in US but was disappointed ... maybe they fixed some of this in season 2.
