I render my animations in Image Sequence than load it in a editing software to put the images back into the video. It's better that way because it gets the accuracy of how the render would come out like. Majority of the SFM community Renders in Image Sequence... also it's better to render each scene individually instead of a whole. SFM can only handle so much. And on top of that the longer clips you render the longer it takes forever to finish

i think your pc is weak if not then maybe check the graphics option
