While there is an error in the intro, it isn't what he said it was. It doesn't cut to the next scene in the intro earlier. Rather, the error is with the butterfly transition effect. It looks like it cuts to the castle sooner because the butterfly transition effect cuts off abruptly with the scene change rather than carrying over and obscuring the sudden change like it normally does.

How do you think she got all those informations? She doesn't just magically know everything, she probably had to ask every pony about their likes and dislikes while also making her own deductions based on observations. If Rainbow never mentioned anything about not liking her pies before this and actively hid that fact, then she had no reason to suspect anything of the contrary.

Imagine the map led them to Ponyville, some day. How in the world would they find out what it is? Yeah sure, they’ve been led to big places like Manehattan where it is hard to find the problem. The difference is, however, the problem there wasn’t between two specific ponies, it was between this whole community. So I’ll say it again, how would they have any clue what to do here? It could be literally impossible to find out. Unless, of course, something happens that clues them in. If something like that happens, however, they’d notice regardless of if the map called them or not, because they live there. So, again, it would be kind of useless.

They never really explain WHY Rainbow Dash doesn't like pie, after all "pie" isn't an inherent flavor. You can make a pie out of almost anything but the basic anatomy of a pie is some kind of filling inside of a crust. The filling is basically some kind of fruit jam or pudding and the crust is basically a cookie or sweet cracker. Does Dash just have a texture aversion to gooey things on crispy things or does she avoid refined sugar because she's an athlete? There are some perfectly reasonable explanations for why she wouldn't like/avoid pies but it's frustrating not getting to hear it.

Speaking as someone who doesn't like pie, I assumed it was a texture thing. I don't like slimy or gooey textures at all, and the filling that makes a pie what it is means they're pretty much all slimy and gooey on the inside. Dash might be the same way.

This is one of the best Pinkie Pie and RD episodes of the entire series in my opinion, Everything Pinkie Pie goes through to make RD eat her pies is an absolute hoot and a half, Although I did feel bad for Pinkie Pie and I won't lie when I say that the very first I saw that concrete pie that RD made, It made me want to literally throw up. But at least RD learned her lesson in the end.

While I do like the design of that darker Rainbow Dash, I’m not fond of this episode, especially from personal experience. It can definitely be hard to tell a friend when you don’t like something you keep getting from them, but the way it’s stated can do a world of difference. The personal experience I speak of is also food related, me noticing that one of my besties wasn’t eating a lot of the chocolate chip cookies I make and bring to hangouts. He simply told me “oh I don’t like chocolate” and from that day on, I make and bring a few cookies for him that have no chocolate chips. No feelings were hurt, if anything I’m really glad to know so he doesn’t have to miss out on cookies
