HVAC professional here, yes I could make it to where you only send poison gas into a single room it's actually super easy barely an inconvenience.... A spaceship would have a zoned system in order to make each space comfortable meaning each room would have a damper in a duct that is fed by the main trunkline allowing the occupant to adjust the amount of airflow into the space. This means if you shut all dampers and opened just the one into the intended space you could indeed flood that room with gas through the HVAC system without risk to the other rooms. My cousin, another friend and I, already could barely play the game without busting out laughing, cause during the game, you're following QuiGon and QuiGon and ObiWan's leg movements (while running), looked like they were tryin' to run with corn-cobs up their butts. Of course the weed didn't help matters any. But what actually ruined us for good that day was, I was playing and had made it to that room where the gas is going to be released. In the movie when the gas comes out of the vents, QuiGon simply says "Dioxin!!" and then he and ObiWan hold their breath. In the game when the gas is released QuiGon calmly says the word, "Dioxin!!" but right after, screams out the word, "gas" like a pissed off drunk person with a speech impediment. It sounded like, "GAAHH YYYYUSSSSS!!". {0.o} I dropped the controller on the floor and we laughed I know for a half hour till our sides friggin' hurt. 😂 🤣 💀

Although the Prequel Trilogy has its fair share of problems, it also holds a special place in my heart, as I grew up watching these movies back in the early 2000s. The Prequel Trilogy helped to expand the Star Wars lore significantly, while also introducing us to the Jedi Order in its prime as well as multiple new planets and species. I love all three films, and Revenge of the Sith ranks second in my Top 3 Star Wars films. Plus, John Williams' music in these films is simply divine.

Well... the Jedi Order in the very last days of its waning prime, at least. 200 years before the Prequels was it's real prime. Before the extremely long life of Yoda had, unfortunately, changed the Order in ways that he saw happening, but wasn't able to stop in time before the Sith latched onto that weakness. An unfortunate spreading of hero worship that had taken hold, and the Jedi who were utterly incapable of following the Force as Yoda naturally could had, enmasse, decided to actually make _rules_ for the Order that said that all Jedi had to try and act like Yoda. Banning things such as having children, Jedi being allowed to marry, trying to bury all emotion... You know - all the ways they'd failed Anakin, and were all obviously failing themselves. _(Didn't help that Yoda himself had become quite a bit rigid in his later years, and as such just assumed that once he was gone the Order would sort itself back out. Ontop of failing Anakin it also created other problems such as Darth Kryat - an emporer who ruled far longer than Palpatine, etc.)_ However... right? As much hate as these caught from shifting Star Wars away from a seemingly magical, mystical sort of story with some sci-fi tossed in... the novels had LONG ago already done that. Anyone who'd read them seems to have quite enjoyed the Prequels. Except, maybe, Jar Jar.

However if you were old enough to be a Star wars fan from before Episode 1 and to understand the movie, you thought it was hot garbage.

@SubduedRadical2 жыл бұрын
@@corellioncrusaderproductio4679 I mean, I can see it both ways. I was like 14 or 15 when the movie came out. Me and my cousins thought the pod racing was kinda stupid and didn't care much for Jar Jar, but enjoyed the other parts of the movie okay. And we were fans of Star Wars from before, had tons of the micro machines and I had some of the Decipher Star Wars card game (the good one from the original trilogy, not the sucky one they did later and then cancelled because it sucked) and I also had the X-Wing game on PC and loved it. I definitely think the Prequels could have been better, but they get a lot of hate from people trying to "be cool". You can tell because those same people decided they loved the Prequels when it became popular to hate the Sequel Trilogy instead. "Fair weather haters", you might say. My issue with Episode 1 was how much time it wasted, with Episode 2 (which felt more like a Star Wars movie to me - at the time, I decided it was because the movie followed multiple plot threads and went different places concurrently, something the OT did a lot of and which Episode 1 did not since the cast was largely traveling together), with Episode 3 how quickly Anakin fell to the Dark Side (he went from "He must stand trial" to "sure, I'll kill a bunch of younglings" in under 10 minutes for crying out loud!), and in all of them, how little space battle there was for movies called "Star Wars". While the OT had Yavin and then Endor, the Prequels really had no major space battles to speak of other than Episode 2's Obi-Wan chasing Jango being VAGUELY reminiscent of Empire's Vader chasing Han through the asteroid field. Episode 1's "space battle" was Anakin accidentally auto-piloting into the heart of an enemy ship then anti-probability flying out, and Episode 3 featured probably one of the most massive space battles in the Star Wars galaxy's history...and we got to spend most of the screen time of it watching Anakin and Obi-Wan play with obnoxious little crawler droids while the actual interesting action happened in the background. But for what they were, the movies weren't bad, and Lucas at least realized he needed to push Jar Jar back into the background somewhat. Of course, that didn't stop him from not only putting him in the foreground at an important part of Episode 2, but if you look at it, the entire Empire thing is Jar Jar's fault... . Anyway, point is, there are quite a few ways of looking at it. But if you were a kid or teenager in the late 90s who liked sci-fi and grew up watching "old" Star Wars movies and were excited to see one in your own lifetime instead of one your parents saw in theaters before you were born...the Prequels weren't bad. And the world building actually was nice - my biggest complaint about the Sequel Trilogy, more than anything else (even the Mary Sue complaint) is that they did NO world building. The entire Republic is just gone, but we know nothing else about it. The First Order just has massive fleets because why not. Supposedly rich greedy bastards are selling to both sides, but Leia's side has three ships and a dozen fighters, that is hardly enough of a "both sides" to prosecute a war. And then Palpatine comes back, Force Diads just...exist...and who even knows what's going on with "not a force ghost Force Ghost" Han. The entire thing was several kinds of crap show. XD

I agree with all entries except for one. Dooku did sense Obi-Wan listening in on his conversation with Nute Gunay on Geonosis, but he decided to ignore him as he knew Obi-Wan would be captured soon as guards were already warned about it. The first talk between the two reveals indirectly that Dooku knew Obi-Wan was there all along, but let him as he still hoped he could turn Obi-Wan to his side. At this point, Dooku was not yet outright evil and he was simply battling what he rightfully saw as corrupt Republic, just like the rest of the Separatists. In Attack of the Clones, none of them, with partial exception of Nute Gunray, were outright evil. I say "partial exception of Nute Gunray" because, as we all know from Episode I, Gunray was simply manipulated and used by Darth Sidious and was not evil by default, but by bitterness over the events of Episode I. Dooku's duel with Obi-Wan, Anakin and especially his former master Yoda was what finally pushed Dooku to the side of evil and, by the time of third movie, he was a full villain. To this day, I think that Dooku and members of Separatist Council did not deserve to die the way they did. They should have stood trial for their crimes.
@vincentyedlin94532 жыл бұрын

I have to disagree with you. Dooku was teetering on being evil before Qui-Gon died. Qui-Gons death is what pushed him over the edge. He went to search for the Sith lord only to discover that he was leader of the Senate. Dooku was full blown dark side after meeting Sidous.
@SubduedRadical Жыл бұрын
@@joshuabowen6919 Actually, that isn't entirely clear. While we can say he was evil, Anakin's statement "From my perspective, the Jedi are evil!" might be part of it. Dooku did see the Republic as corrupt bureaucracy to the detriment of the people. It's unclear if he wanted outright power (the typical "evil" thing) or legitimately disliked the corrupt (can we say "evil"?) government. He basically led a secession/revolution movement. One could argue that finding out the Sith Lord was also leading the Senate - the thing you ALREADY thought was corrupt and evil - might rightly push someone over the edge into deciding the whole thing needed to be brought down. And lest we forget, Dooku tried making his own apprentices, meaning he had plans to take out Palpatine. Again, whether for power or to rid the galaxy of his evil is a question whose answer died with Dooku - who looked shocked and betrayed when Palpatine ordered Anakin to kill him.
@miroslavtomic7038 Жыл бұрын

The reason the trade disputes are so prominent and important is cuz Palps was using something like that to spark the greater war. He just needed that small bit to really get people fighting, so that he can later segregate planets from each other further by continuing poking and prodding in every direction to cause unrest and conflict. Then he swoops in and "fixes" everything so people cheer and wholeheartedly accept his leadership. In Episode II, he became nothing more then a supporting villain at best. In Episode III, he was nothing more then a background villain. Despite this, he is one of only two villains - the other being Darth Sidious - who appeared in all three prequel movies. They should have kept him as main villain and have him killed by Anakin as such. While I am huge fan of both Christopher Lee and Dooku, Dooku to me was a totally unneeded addition to this trilogy.

ah man, i saw that video of him talking about the turn his life took after the movie... really heartbreaking stuff, and i have gone way easier on jar jar as a character after getting a glimpse at the human being behind him. similar thing with the kid who played anakin. i know every fanbase has a section of really entitled, toxic, downright abusive zealots, but i remember the initial reactions to the prequel trilogy, and now having seen the reaction to the sequel trilogy... i think star wars has some of the worst. what used to be a safe haven for scifi nerds all over the world to come together over their shared love for this universe has become more and more hostile, to the point my girlfriend and i were afraid to talk about star wars even with each other, because were just that accustomed to having everyone lash out at us just for, you know, having our own opinions about it. id rather have the snotty "youre not smart enough to understand it" rick and morty fans (who still suck, by the way) over some of the things ive seen with the star wars fanbase. #notallstarwarsfans, etc

In my opinion I’ve never gotten the hate for Hayden Christiansen. His role was supposed to be an awkward teenager with conflicting feelings and zero social skills. He played it perfectly. If you want to blame anyone, blame Lucas and the writers

I think he played it amazing. Cringe towards women, angry towards real problem, and in the meantime a goofy overconfident idiot. It doesn't get more accurate than this, as far as young adults go.

You never removed a sin for the throwaway line "you're shorter than I expected" remaining accurate throughout the Clone Wars series. Doing such a thing before the multipliers at the end would reduce the sin count drastically.

Another point to make that shows just how blind the Jedi were is all those statues in Palpatine's office in episode's 1-3 after he becomes chancellor are all Sith statues. They had a whole section in that library seen in episode 2 and 3 within the temple full of all information gathered on the Sith. Would think one of those Jedi masters who were seen more than once in that office would look around and go hold on a sec I recognize those statues.

I’m sorry but I’m calling bs right here. You’ll give Jar binks (a very hated and deservedly so character) 100 sins but won’t give “somehow Palpatine returned” aka the most hated moment in all of Star Wars a 1000 sins? A bit arbitrary.

The fact that Anakin and Qui-Gon Jinn are already running when Darth Maul attacks is not a sin. There is a deleted scene before that where Qui-Gon cuts down one of Darth Maul’s probe’s. The visual effects were never finished and what was complete of the scene can be seen on the 2011 Blu Ray Release. That’s why they are already running.

No this is perfect, but no one takes a dump on the fans and then blames them for it either. And then they actually tell a story, instead of just ripping off the First Triilogy. And the Director was the one who told the actors what to do. Badility wasn't their faults.

What's the deal with Padme having a double? I understand for public appearances where it makes no difference. But what is the logical conclusion to doubling during a trade meeting? Kiera signs the treaty, but surprise, Padme is on TV on the other side of the galaxy. I guess so she can sneak away, but, like, she was already off Naboo. What was the rest of it about?
