3:30 if you go frame-by-frame you can see that the turtle actually completely removes itself from the shell and escapes off-screen to the right. Still a sin because turtle shells are a permanent part of their body and a turtle without a shell is like a human without a torso
@cintronproductions94302 жыл бұрын
That's not even a turtle, that's a Glyptodon, a giant prehistoric armadillo. What you said about turtles still applies to Glyptodonts and modern armadillos tho, their shells are NOT removable. Heck, in these movies they gave the Glyptodons a PLASTRON, in other words, a bottom shell, like a turtle. Glyptodons and modern armadillos have uncovered bellies.

@Yummy Spaghetti Noodles , just watched a video the other day of a squirrel falling. It was in the top part of a tree that was being cut down that was probably close to the three times the height of the house it was next to, and that squirrel hit the ground and kept running. I'm not sure if woolly mammoths ever made it as far south as China, I kind of doubt it. But it seems to me that the only reason why a mammoth couldn't have experienced the ancestor of modern day peaches has more to do with distribution and less to do with it being the ice age. 8:18 "Movie steals the Godzilla Vs Kong and How to Train your Dragon the hidden world" which were two movies that came years after this. Plus, The Hollow earth was based off a real theory by scientists who believe that the earth has no core, and the Hidden world for the dragons was probably an original idea made by the makers of HttyD. I will let this slide though since you did reference the land of the lost and how this particular bit is very similar to land of the lost.

The biggest sin of this movie is the horrendously inaccurate size differences between the mammals and the dinosaurs. The fact they made Manny and Ellie, woolly mammoths human-sized compared a brachiosaurus will always bug me.
@cintronproductions94302 жыл бұрын
Almost all the dinos are drastically oversized. The T.rex is way too big. The Baryonyx is way too big. The Ankylosaurus is way too big. The Pachycephalosaurus, the Iguanodon and the Miragaia? Way. Too. BIG. XD
@Yoshikarter12 жыл бұрын
@@cintronproductions9430 You are technically correct. If we took the humans from 1 and compared them to Manny, they'd be reasonably small, but not tiny. Woolly mammoths were of similar size to African elephants. Now take those same humans and compare them to the dinosaurs from 3. They'd be like insects. The dinos are indeed laughably oversized.
@lawlessvic67088 ай бұрын
plus one sin for manny saying he's the biggest thing on earth, he knows there are other woolly mammoths out there and doesn't think that there could be one bigger than him

One of the biggest sins in the entire franchise is the fact that the humans appeared after the dinosaurs went extinct. There were humans in the first movie and for some reason, in the Ice Age universe, the dinosaurs didn’t die out and they made it into the third movie.

Geologist here - pumice floats on water. Lava is not water. It hardens surface-first, hence the rocks floating on top. Now, it's usually a very thin crust that wouldn't hold anything, so it's still sinnable.
