Super Saiyan Solid Snake Well the quality has been great throughout, for sure. But after 3/4, you could tell that some of the tunes were becoming a bit less memorable, a bit more bland. Later games had great soundtracks too but that NES sound fits so well for Mega Man games and the tunes were just more catchy. Imo.

I love how good this still looks. It was so beautifully designed it doesn't even matter that it's 25 years old. Play some of the early 3D Playstation games and notice how dated they are now. :)

Yeah, but it looks kinda pixelated in this video; you would normally play these games on CRT screens back in the mid-90s, and they would look even better on those screens, since the scanlines disguised the pixels a lot.

I just played through X2 and had to rewatch some of this game because I wanted to go back and play it too but completely forgot what the levels were haha. I love the mega man franchise, been a hardcore fan since 91 or so.

I don't know if anyone told him in the stream, but the reason THAT JUMP was so hard is because it's basically a secret one. Since you get the cannon upgrade later in the story anyway.

Someone probably already told you this, but on the boomer kuwanger stage you could have used the charged shot of the penguin's weapon to make the jump for the heart container.

That Genesis Mega Man game is a reproduction cart I think. As far as I know, it only came out in Europe and Japan in physical form. It won't be worth too much, but the European version is worth £250+ complete in box.

Oh man this game.. i was a huge Megaman lover as a kid on the NES, and when this came out and i played it..i couldnt believe how awesome it was!! Along with X4 the best in the X series by far.

God, I could never beat this game as a kid. Near the end, there's this one place where you have to climb up a ladder. You get to the top and there's just no way to get to the next ladder nearby. Me and my friend spent TWO HOURS trying to get to the next ladder and couldn't do it. We finally just gave up and decided it was bugged and couldn't be beaten.

R by far, you can keep speed and charge shot with R but you have to choose between one or the other with dash button on A

I love Bloodborne, I'm actually trying to Platinum it right now. I got the game back when it came and but I never beat it. However recently I came back and beat it, and now I'm trying to get the rest of the Trophies so I can get the Platinum. I think I have like 5 left.

Wampa Stompa1 It was really satisfying for me to 100% this one. I did beat it back when it came out, but not with all the endings, all the npc side missions and not with beating every boss and npc, getting all weapons and unique items, etc. At something like NG+3, I worked my way through every nook and cranny of every chalice dungeon. That really helped with getting the best blood gems and runes. After that I comfortably played through to NG+8 and getting all trophies.

In over twenty years I've never been able to get past any of the bosses in this game, so I've never played the series. I just kept going back to the NES ones. Maybe I can get some tips here, everyone says they're great games, but I've always hated them because they're too hard.

@@Zjonishealing Oh hell no. I can beat about 3 or 4 bosses though. I might not have mentioned but when I was a kid, I never even knew about the upgrades, or else I never found them. They're pretty essential to getting further. I'm playing Legend of Doom right now, the Zelda 1 mod. MMX is on my list of somedays, with Super Metroid. I always get lost or stuck and start over before I beat it. Anyway skill isn't universal, I can breeze through Super Punch Out or Contra III as good as I could then. Just some games are sticking points.

Can't go wrong with MMX, a Capcom game I'm curious if you have any experience with that I think is one of the hardest games I've played in a while is UN Squadron... almost every boss that I've faced in the game is like a final boss to finish a hard game... the levels aren't any easier...

You can also get by creating a chill penguin-like ice platform with the charged up Shotgun Ice weapon and have it slide toward the opening and jump off of it onto the platform with the heart tank on when you are near the platform with the heart tank on it. The second method saves time by not having to go through the entire level again if you were to get the heart tank with the Boomerang Cutter.

So Mike's playing Megaman, and is in a situation where he needs to hit an enemy above him. Does he lack the mental capacity to realize he's playing, fucking Megaman? And to use his abilities?
