I know you are having problems with jumping. I suggest trying the following while jumping: * making guttural noises - 25% increase in jumping success rate * stretching neck up like trying to look over something - 60% increase in success rate * yelling "GET UP THERE!!" - 200% increase in jumping success rate

Best way to play on real systems is to buy a sd cart. Write randomized rom to sd, put it in the cart and voila, have to redo each time u want to randomize but since it can takes long times to complete the games, it's worth it. Eliminates all the lag

The input lag that you are experiencing might be the 8bitdo controller you are using. Are you using it in Bluetooth mode? I found that when I play games myself that I experience significantly more input lag the further I get away from the receiver... to the point where it actually can make an action game almost unplayable when I'm trying to play it on a tv in the other room.

Olly Hopnoodle's Haven of Bliss is just one sequel to A Christmas Story that takes place when Ralphie is 14. There was another sequel, It Runs in the Family (1994) that took place the summer after the original movie, and there was also A Christmas Story 2 (2012) that takes place when Ralphie is 16.

Michael Holzer - In the randomizer, there is an option you can select to start at the palace where you died after a game over. If you die in the overworld, though, you always start at the beginnin.

The constant bitching about input lag was off-putting and a classic case of lag placebo. More likely you weren't on point because of the constant focus on chat, it happens all the time on streams. There are many, many emulated playthroughs of Zelda 2 out there where the players excel at the game. it's very easy to blame lag on poor performance and seems to be a trend at the moment but input lag on a good emulator should be negligible and barely perceptible unless you have the timing sensitivity of an insect or just plain suck at games. The main thing that proves this though is you cite the NES classic as one of the benchmarks for non laggy play. Plug n plays, even the Nintendo ones have far worse lag than a good PC emulator, there are videos out there showing that, look them up. I'd recommend Retro Arch as an emulator with minimal lag if you're interested.
