Man this is one of the few channels that still inspires me and helps me find new things to try with lighting. It's really nice. I've been working in video production for years, and I know how to light things to look generally quite good by now, but you bring such creativity and cleverness to the table with limited resources. Thanks Rob! This is a great tutorial on the use of small LED lights. I personally bought 20$ LED tubes designed for the fitment in kitchen cabinets (3200k and 5500k) they don't have nearly as much flexibility as these godox units but they work in tight spaces just as well!

The best thing about your tuts are they are complete. By complete I mean that you touch upon the minute details which might create confusion if not shown (like showing the spatial arrangement properly)and that’s why most of the tutorials from other channels aren’t that effective , even Apurture. This video's actually funny timing because just recently I did some lighting tests for a short with a *very* similar (though nowhere near as good-looking) setting. I think I'll have to steal the idea for bouncing a small light off the ceiling for the overhead look since it's tricky to get the angle otherwise.
