By the way Thrall, while you were gone, this twitchy upstart shaman painted your doomhammer purple, used it to wipe out all the wildlife on the Broken Isles, and then accidentally blew it up while trying to infuse it with more power. Quite honestly, I don't agree with that. I think the visuals of current day WoW are amazing. They have the iconic comic style, but the zones look absolutely stunning and the environments are beautifully rendered. They never were the leaders. Look up the real founder of Blizzard Entertainment. He retired at the end of BC, triumphant with all of his creations. Mike was just the co founder and always the beta male follower, used to temper the grand designs that would reach a little too far without a more tentative hand. Which is exactly why the second BC ended Mike ran to Bobby Kotick and Activision for a merger deal, he never could handle leadership. He just isnt a leader. The man you want is so far gone and buried no one even remembers his name.

As much as anyone hates the man's values, if he hadnt come in, there would have been no Blizzard back in 2008. Vivendi started this downwards trend by turning on Blizzard, Kotick used it as an opportunity to take power by merging activision. You're way off base and speaking from emotion rather than facts

Man. When I look closely at a piece of art, the flaws jump out at me. But this ... I see the dirty fingernails, the cracks of dry hands, the sunspots of age on Saurfang's skin. I see the change in Thrall's posture, cheeks and ears, when he's asked where his family is. The way his eyes lose focus as he processes the attack, and the way Saurfang looks him up and down as he evaluates him. This is remarkable work. Absolutely remarkable.

Superb indeed, this is the game i fell in love with, but it is being torn asunder with poor mechanicsand oversimplification. But the cinematics and lore are always the high point for me and it used to be the content up until this expansion. I hope they restabilize, they really don't have much wiggle room anymore for mistakes and plenty for improvement so let's hope they turn it around and listen to their fans.
