I actually really liked the military guys in the first movie, and they were fine in the sequels.

Nothing beats the 1980’s original animated “Transformers” film! But I do feel a little bad for “Revenge of the Fallen” because it happened just as a major writer’s strike occurred and they literally had either no, or an unfinished script.
@tylerfish27012 жыл бұрын
No, after watching Bobsheaux's review, the writer's strike had nothing to do with why it sucked. Bay used it as an excuse because everything that happened in it was his fault.

Smeghead reviewing all Bayformers movies and Bumblebee? Well isn't that just Prime?
@JenMistress2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, with me, I tapped out of this franchise after the 3rd one. And even Bumblebee, I was going to continue to ignore like the other Transformers until the reviews came out, talked me into checking it out, and glad it did. That is how I feel Transformers should have been all along.

As a super black woman I liked Skidz and Mudflap. Now I may be a little biased because those were my favorite cars. Even bought the car based on them. I didn’t have a problem with the way they sexualized Meghan Fox in the first movie because she was so smart. I almost didn’t notice it. It was the second movie where it got in the way for me. The biggest issue for me in these movies is that when they fought I couldn’t tell one from the other. Also the killed Ironhide.

Fun (or not so fun, depending on how you roll) fact: The success of the first movie lead to Hasbro hiring a veteran animator from Cartoon Network to reboot another franchise to surprising (maybe too much) success… That reboot was My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. So you can thank Michael Bay and his Transformers movie for bronies existing. You’re welcome!

It isn't mentioned in the video, but Bumblebee turned from a prequel of the Bayformers film to a reboot during production and there were reshoots.
