Excellent ah spoiler ah avoid panni sollirukinga.. I definitely know you would say about interval block symmetry.. We want further analysis after the film is in OTT 🔥🔥

Hi, As a VFX artist, I totally agree with your point on muzzle flash. Muzzle flashes are so hard to replicate that even some of the Hollywood movies fail to create realistic looking muzzle flashes. And I like how you noticed the bullet getting stuck in between frames as if it's looking still. That was spot on. I'll try to explain why that might have happened. Slowing down something is a bit tricky than speeding up in VFX. We simulate certain elements and save them as caches for couple of frames. For example if that bullet travelling shot is around 30 frames, we simulate and cache the bullet as well as the smoke trail for 30 frames. Now when we slow it down 2x times or 3x times, you are technically stretching the cache data to 60 frames if it's 2x times and 90 frames if it's 3x times. So what happens is after slowing down, your 1st frame stays the same, 2nd frame now becomes 3rd frame (if it's 2x slow) or 4th frame (if it's 3x slow). Now you have missing data in between and because of which it looks as if the bullet is staying static in between or in other words, you have a jittery and not a very smooth motion. However, this is not a hard thing to solve. It can be easily fixed. Hope the explanation was clear. Subscribed 👍
@V2KPhotography2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for subscribing and a million more thanks for breaking it down for us :) I'm still waiting for the day when we will apply the lens blur and let the bullet fly in and out of the focal plane. It will just add soooo much more realism. Having the bullet tack sharp throughout the flight is jarring sometimes. :)
@beeku3922 жыл бұрын
@@V2KPhotography Exactly. It did look a bit odd when I first saw in promo video. Bullets were unrealistically slow and sharp. It shouldn't have stayed for more than 3-4 frames max. And an object that's travelling in that speed would be having very high motion blur. But I guess that's a creative decision that the director might have gone with. In most cases, it's not that vfx artists don't realize when something looking fake. We do realize that. But we will be specifically told that this is what the director wants so we deliver what they wanted.

The building exterior "drone" shot was actually a dolly shot. The building exterior was a set and everything after a point was extended in VFX compositing. hence when the CG birds pass by they transitioned to shot 2 with Character B. How do I know ? I worked in that shot.

Bro Interval shot is also not drone shot. It is a rig called BOLT, it is a robotic arm in which high frame speed camera called Phantom. The robotic arm works on pre adjusted movement and the sequence are choreographed. Mostly phantom camera is used in it.
@V2KPhotography2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I think we have talked about it. And they didn’t use the Robotic Arm from BOLT. They used MOCOBOT. I was talking about the top angle shot with concentric circles.
