Nice slider review. I like that its small & light, I only wish it came with a travel bag.

What tri pod set up is that? I know it's manfrotto but not sure what tri pod or head? Great vid, will look at pricing now. Thanks

I really like the slider, but I haaaattte the locking mechanism. It can only be locked in the center position, it gets in the way a lot, and I've almost lost the screw several times when it falls out.

These use 19mm rods. It's possible, but that could change it's performance when only using one tripod center mounted.

Good review with excellent video footage. Is there any chance you could review the Duzi v3 (upgrade kit from v2 available) and the Modo (motion timelapse system)? With a GH3 and GH4 we have an inbuilt intervalometer. It would be great to see some results. I haven't bought a slider yet, so it'd be good to see how this performs before I decide on which one to buy. Thank you.

+BobToms100 The Duzi V3 is definitely a better system. They fixed so many things on it, especially the locking brake. If you are shopping between the two, the Duzi v3 is the way to go.

Keiko did you find any flex from the full range when on a tripod? I am getting some bend at the far left and right and it looks like I have the same tripod and manfrotto head as you do in this video. My 5D3 is on top on a 701 head. The Cinevate Duzi is by far the smoothest and lightest slider I've used, way way better than my Konova one, but I am interested to hear thoughts on flex. I have the v2, which is slightly lighter than v1... Cinevate are already looking into my issue; great customer service from them.

You will need a better tripod.

Tariq Iftikhar It's not the sticks.. They are rigid and locked down. After several tests I've noticed the movement is in the 502 head at the part where the fluid drag system sits. The strange thing is I've seen reviews on this slider with exactly the same head and no issues.

***** I have the 502 and the new MVH502A both on the Manfrotto 190XPROB Tripod and I get flex at when the 5DMK3 with 24-70 is at the end of either side. I tried to lock the slider onto the tripod alone and it did work a little better. There is always going to be a little flex unless you get something like the Edelkrone
@andyuxd10 жыл бұрын
Cheers Tariq I also found the flex reduced when the head was out of the equation. I've also switched the angle of the plate to be 'across' the head as opposed to in parallel with the tilt. It has improved a little, but the 502A has movement in the fluid section. I can't notice it much in the shots, if at all :-)

So what size are the rods for real? 15mm or 19mm? Cause other videos people say its 15mm tubes.

Hi, I love your tutorial, can you share what is the 3-way pan, tilt ball head you used in this tutorial that it can allow you to shoot vertically? I have a 2 way pan, tilt fluid head but it doesn't allow me to shoot vertically.
@MrCheesyCam8 жыл бұрын
+bummer4451 Fluid heads are nice for panning, but for those angle shots you need a ball head. We use this one: amzn.to/1RfmynX

Hi, I mean, what tripod head did you use in this tutorial to shoot vertically with Duzi.
