@SweetLizzie81 I don't think it matters. You have to use a lot of hairspray on it to keep it stay so even if your hair is clean or dirty, I think it will still look almost the same after hairspray :)

Very cute style. I was just thinking I would have done the side braids first (simply tie/band other hair out of the way) and then proceed to styling the top, then you don't have to worry about the pouf being in the way.

they're dutch braids :) im pretty sure her natural way she braids is a dutch braid but thats okay they look fantastic! i say this because she brings the middle strand over the side strands instead of under :)
