Thank you so much Michael. Somehow I keep coming back because no other video here provides the same clarity. Please keep them coming.

Hi Michael, this is a pretty good design, and i like it more than the one to be found on opensourceecology, because yours is a much easier design and easier to build. Would you mind sharing your source for the plans? Metric is fine for me, as im from germany ;-) Thanks in advance. BR Georg

Nice video to understand the mechanism. lever with 6 feet effort arm and 2 inches load arm gets 72/2 = x36 advantage. Brick is 9x4 for 36 square inches. If u use 200 lb of force u get 200 psi applying a total of 7200 lb. I read somewhere that the best bricks are made at 2500 psi. I'm not sure if the lever give u some extra push at 90 degrees when in vertical position but i doubt it. If the 2500 psi theory is real this bricks are closer to dust than they are to stone or concrete. Bending iron aint a big deal.i bend thick bars deadlifting a few plates. Hopefully someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi Mike Thank you for this video. I am a student in a Construction Management program in the States. I would like to build one of this for interlocking blocks used in mortarless building construction. Would please provide me some guidances for my capstone project? Thank you in advance.

This is amazing! Thanks for the information. Have you figured out if you can share digital cut-files for fabrication? Joe Rheingans has moved on from ECS, Inc. in Springdale, AZ. I would like to have a local company try to cut the pieces for me. If you're uncomfortable sharing these I'd understand. Thanks!
