NOT for hemiplegic. this does not address arm/hand paralysis. For walking/gait issues you are better off looking at Xtend brace for foot drop and foot roll, supination.

This would be sooo cool! My 17 year old had a stroke at the age of 6. The AFO and the SMO have not worked due to the constant having to go in and have it fine tuned.

Forgive me to say this. I say this as someone with MS who struggles with their walking every day. From what I can see, this device doesn't really do much? Everyone that needed a cane, still does. I dream of a day where I don't need my kane

Everyone is different! Some people have been able to switch from one assistive device to another, others to rely less on assistive devices overall. It's very individual. The Neural Sleeve stimulates the four major muscle groups of the leg sequenced to an individual's gait pattern, and the App has a library of exercises to help with strengthening and conditioning as well.

Try before buy?? If it lets my wife walk again ( following a big stroke 4 years ago) we would part with our life savings, but quite a lot of "help" so far had failed to reduce to overwhelming sparkler cramps that swarm her entire left side when anything so much as brushes against it. So we are not hopeful and can only pay out after a cure has been found.
