If human intervention was needed to 'correct' Allah's perfect text, then it was never 'perfect' and it has not been 'perfectly preserved'. Since 'Allah' supposedly 'preserves' his words, then he has not done so, and the Koran is false, Islam is false, and Muslims may abandon the Koran with confidence, since it is a man-made book.

The 5 prayers is not in the Quran. The Quran would teach 3 prayers, if one wanted a structure. The 5 prayers are in later hadiths, it seems to have been copied from the Zoroastrians. There was the alleged trip to Jerusalem on a buraq, a strange mythical creature, then a trip to heaven to parley Allah down to 5 prayers, in these 9C+ hadiths, that is supposed to explain Surah Al-Isra 17.1, but this needs creative interpretation of Surah 17.1 to allow, it looks to about Moses really.

We can see that when the majority of the people are perverse, the society is cursed. American Democracy was framed after the style of government of the Kehillah of Yeshu'a HaMoshe'a, with a counsel of Elders selected by Yehovah, and offices of Bishops and Deacons selected by the Kehillah, Believers with voting rights. The aim of the response is to confuse and convolute. Lawyers do this with legal cases. Usually, even the most tenuous of counter arguments is sufficient to satisfy Muslims that the criticism has been shut down. That way they can say it’s been debunked. Even in the Yasir Qadhi interview he said that he was working on some things in the background with other scholars. Working on what though? The truth? Or working on ways to deflect from the criticism?

Again, Paul was taught by the apostles about Christianity before he started to travel and preach. He must have read their writings, before they could be compiled into gospels. Please, study the new testament. Paul could articulate matters of faith better than many of the apostles since he was very educated. He was very thoughtful and well learned. Most of the contents of the gospels were simply biographies of the life of Jesus. Paul, on the other hand, provided a commentary and a deeper perspective on the faith through his letters, to enlighten the new converts and give them guidance. That sort of work could not be inserted in the gospels since it would pollute the gospels, which are again, mainly biographies of the life of Christ. Only John complemented his gospel with a deep perspective. Matthew and Mark tended to be to the point with few comments of their own. That said, the gospels do not tell everything that the apostles witnessed about the life of Jesus. They merely gave us a general report on the life of Christ. What the apostles witnessed must have transformed them into strong believers. If you read the gospel of John, you should be able to see what I mean. John was very close to Jesus. He summed up the mission of Jesus in the first chapter of his gospel.

I would think by the multiple Qurans from after the 7th Century, and the location of authors, we are looking at something simpler to what occurred in early Christianity. In the search for god, a theme was picked and the different authors picked or wrote material to make a book they all called Quran. In 300 AD the early Christian Bishops realised for the religion this was an issue for the Catholic doctrine if one church had a script that said one message and another church elsewhere had a letter that was different in principle messaging. So they destroyed works as heretical, made some aporically works, and what was left ended up in the Testament. The Abbasids on the other hand wanted an Arab religion so I'm suggesting they were the patrons behind the first early Qurans to find and build one. They were not bothered if they were too different from each other because of communication over long distances made it less of an issue these differences would become problematical. They just wanted the Arabs to learn that they were in a succession of divine rulers of the Arab Empire and the prophet made them these Annointed successors and added a few post Jesus fables and common norms (like slavery being ok) to finish off the theology. But believe it or die was the intent behind it all. Then you had the Crusaders and Mongols muddying up any historic records and memos the Arabs might have made regarding making this religion, war being what war is. The communication between distances became less uncommon, so by the time of the Ottomans came along their bright schoolers thought this is a real problem, all these different Qurans, so they asked the new Caliph to pick one, the Hafs, and started to edit all the non-Hafs to fit the narrative. They only did a so-so job of revising the texts so in 1924 the revision of Islam became a huge secret project that Muslims must never know about. Unfortunately for Muslims, Christianity and Judaism was place under the scientific microscope as the prominent religions in European culture demanding to rule by god, and now it was the turn of Islam as it was trying to dominate the European worldview with this Muhammad the geezer. Christianity might have had some regressive history to impose on the common man, like burning witches, but Islam was the motherload of bad ideas. I find it amazing anyone can believe anything in the Quran as coming from a godlike all-knowing all wise creature. It's so man made, wicked and full of bullshit.

It was a problem, the Bishops made rules to determin what could be in the cannon and what could not, and preyed about it. If you wish to revise history be my guest.
