Glad it worked for you. I bought one at Hobby Lobby and after several attempts decided to return the cutter. I watched your video and others and could not for the life of me to get it to work. Too bad.

Have the we r one the only thing I don't like about it is it puts holes in your paper. Thank you for sharing.

Deborah, Ihad the same problem. Then I watched another vid of this product and they used tape (Washi, or something similar) to hold the paper in place. Good technique for smaller pieces. Hope this idea helps. I willing to give it another try.

Acabo de adquirir el "circle cutter," es muy práctico, lo único mal es que no se puede recortar círculos más pequeños.

Can you use that for really thick fabric

You would be dulling the cutting blades when using a plastic cutting mat underneath what your cutting. Using a self heal mat under what your cutting. The surface of a self healing mat would be as dense a surface to cut. It's something to think about.

Yep, the first time I tried the Martha Stewart one, I sliced my finger open when I slid the cover off the blade and I mean it was a deep cut because I was putting so much pressure on the cover, thinking that it slid from the top instead of the side and that long blade sunk in deep and at a great speed. I felt like an idiot and was bleeding all over my crafts and desk - what crafting fun I was having. 😲. I am glad you did this video because I thought it was just me that didn't know how to use the Martha Stewart one. The design is flawed, for sure. It does not cut well enough for the price, it's awkward, doesn't work well and I feel that it's dangerous. However, I found that if you turn it with little pressure, it works a bit better. I rarely need a large circle anyway so I will just use the circle dies with my Bigshot since I don't need them that often either. Mine is going in the trash because I think it is an awful product - I refuse to give it to anyone. I wonder how many people buy this product and then toss it in the trash.

Cassie I know this is bad but I'm glad I'm not the only one to cut myself lol. I hardly ever cut circles too but I'm a tool hoarder lol I had to have it when I saw it and compare it to the Martha one. I've seen a couple other circle cutters but was always to scared to buy them.because they were similar to the Martha one. I like the new one because it has that bottom attached.

@@laurascraftzone3886 Haha! You are bad 😊. So how is the teflon bone folder working out for you, have you tried it any more? I laughed at the one video where you put it up and got your trusty EK Success one back out. I think if you can get accustomed to the weight of it, you might like it but you might not. I still haven't bought one but I will one day for super thick paper like Bo Bunny papers, for black cardstock and for forcing chipboard into a rounded shape. By the way, they say Bazzill paper won't crack. I got some to try on an album cover. I am going to try to crack it just to see if it's true.

@@cassiescreations9828 I still don't use it lol I have tried a couple times but not much. It'll take time to get used to it. Let me know how the Bazzill works.

Did the MS cutter not recommend a glass mat? You always use a cutter with a glass mat. Sorry you found out too late.

I don't like the fact that it holds your paper down by punching holes in it! It always punches little holes in your paper so you cannot use that part anymore (other than for scraps)
