See, as much as I would love to be in a Broadway musical especially from a childhood movie like this. I wouldn’t be about to handle the power that is put behind this. I would just ugly cry as I’m attempting to sing along. I went to see this in Sydney and I sat there with my hands in the air like I’m praising Jesus, as I’m violently sobbing feeling the power radiate from the stage and I’m just mouthing the lyrics. It was so powerful and hit me so hard in the feels.

I was in a Junior version of Lion King last summer and I'm really happy I was because now I know the meaning and passion behind of this song. I was a hyena but I was still so happy to be onstage for this song and practice this everyday to get it right. Even children who were as small as five years old were able to grasp the deep meaning of this song and be able to get the feelings of this song. It's one of my favorite memories and I cannot express how happy this song makes me.
