An amazing live performance of The Lion King title song by the legendary LEBO M. and more than 100 artists of the HAVASI Symphonic Concert Show.
For more than 20 years, the magical story of Symba has captured the hearts of millions of children and adults. In 2014 Lebo M., the co-composer and performer of The Lion King and HAVASI Symphonic revived the immersive opening song, Circle of Life. This unique performance conjured up the exotic world of the savanna featuring a huge symphony orchestra, choir, rock drums, African singers, world music soloists and the dancers of ExperiDance.
The show attracted 46,000 visitors in a single weekend and this special performance with Lebo M. remains an unforgettable memory for the audience of the Budapest Arena in Hungary. It was also performed at the Sala Polivalenta in Romania and the Wiener Stadthalle in Austria.

I'm a descendant of enslaved Africans in Cuba and Puerto Rico. My grandmother practiced Santeria, a religion of African practices mixed with the Spanish Catholic religion that they were forced to partake in. When they were alone, they practiced their own beliefs (voodoo). It developed into Santeria over time. Im way off topic but seeing Africa in the way that it should be shown, the real beauty of the continent. It also reminds me of my childhood. Even then I was mesmerized by the beauty.

This "dude" is Lebohang Morake from South Africa. Known as Lebo M, he is a South African producer and composer, known for his songwriting and vocal work on the soundtracks to films such as The Lion King, The Power of One and Outbreak and numerous stage productions. He was recommended to Disney by Hans Zimmer, the composer of both adaptations of The Lion King, and formed and conducted the African choir that sang for the films. He is a big name in the international music arenas, and I'm surprised so few know this.

If any art man has ever created deserves to live beyond us, to represent the best of our species in the depths of time, it’s this. So moving and beautiful.

Most recognizable voice in the history of any song opening. You can't help but to feel good when you hear it. Long Live Lebo! 3:52 is what music can do to a soul.

This "dude" is Lebohang Morake from South Africa. Also known as Lebo M, he is a South African producer and composer, known for his songwriting and vocal work on the soundtracks to films such as The Lion King, The Power of One and Outbreak and numerous stage productions. He was recommended to Disney by Hans Zimmer, the composer of both adaptations of The Lion King, and formed and conducted the African choir that sang for the films. He is a big name in the international music arenas, and I'm truly surprised that so few people know this.
