A surprising amount of thought that goes into each round of this. Looks great as a travel game, lots of strategy and variety with those goal cards. Plus a great quality playthrough as usual.

Thanks! Yeah, like a lot of the Button Shy solo games, it is as thinky or breezy as you want it to be. I found myself analyzing exactly what the AI would do and try to outflank it. But you could also just decide what card is best for you and not even think about the AI. Either way, the game is super quick. Thanks so much for watching!

@@TotallyTabled Ideal really, definitely nice that you can just try your luck and see if the AI "outsmarts" you, but equally I enjoyed watching your thought process which turned it into much more of a thinking game than I originally thought it would be.

Thank you, Shaggi, for another great playthrough. I think I'm going to end up having backed all the Button Shy campaigns this year (i believe after this will be the Ancient Realms expansions). BS has really been on a roll lately.

That's great to hear. I've loved Button Shy games since Sprawlopolis. I'm grateful to have a relationship with them as a creator so I can highlight the games I enjoy. I have many more I want to feature in the future. Thanks for checking out the video!

Circle the Wagons and Ancient Realm are two of my favorite Button Shy games. Will be checking out this Kickstarter! Thanks for the playthrough.

I believe that Button Shy is going to run an Ancient Realms Expansion campaign later this year. I don't have e that game yet (sold out on their site), so I am looking forward to it.

Ancient Realm is great. I hope to feature a playthrough of it soon -- perhaps during the campaign. ROVE is still a favorite of mine. I plan to show off Aqua ROVE soon. Thanks, James!

@@TotallyTabled You know, I have ROVE but for some reason have never played it. Wasn't aware there was an Aqua ROVE out. Look forward to seeing your playthrough of it.

@@jamesmorgan1967 Highly recommend ROVE -- check out my playthrough if you haven't. Great fun if you like spacial puzzles.

Your playthroughs have a professional quality!! You should make a video about how you make these videos (equipment, preparation, process etc) ! I think many people would be interested!!!
@TotallyTabled2 ай бұрын
First, thank you. I'm glad you feel that way. I aim for "high effort amateurism" with my videos. As long as everything is easy to see and hear, the editing is flowing, and the vibes are casual, then that's good enough for me. Content is always king. True professional quality requires skills, experience, tech and time, none of which I possess. But I have received many requests to explain how I make the videos, which I happily share. And I do have plans to eventually make a video about my process. It is fairly simple, really. Thanks for watching!

Great playthrough! I love this game solo. Its stablemate Sprawlopolis seems to be the more popular of the two, but for me CtW is the better game. I like how it has the drafting element alongside the tile placement, whereas Sprawlopolis is just the latter. I’ll definitely be buying Second Shot!

Yeah, this and Sprawl are very similar on paper but feel very different in play. The fact that one is co-op and the other competitive changes the vibe. I think I still give the edge to Sprawl and its elegant design, but it's very close. I'm happy to have both. Thanks, Jay!

Thank you for this. BS has a free download to try out the game during the campaign but it doesn't include the solo expansion so I can't try it for myself.

Hi!! Thanks for the video! I have the game and the Lone Cowboy expansion. The terrain scoring rules say: "Opponent scoring is outlined on the scenario card. In addition, identify the 3 most common territories in their Town. They score 1 point for each territory in types. (For example: Forest = 14pts). Those 3 are 5 Plains, 5 Snow, 4". I saw that you played with another rule to score opponent's terrain. Is this rule from this Second Shot game? Thanks!
@TotallyTabled3 ай бұрын
Yes, the scoring rules have been updated for the Lone Cowboy expansion for the Second Shot version. What I showed in the video are the new scoring rules. Thanks for watching!
