I think you're right in that she's saying her life is is one giant loop like a circle, but it isn't implying the feelings aren't mutual. The line of "are these words that you gave me real" implies they said "yes I love you" but she is still contemplating about whether or not it was true. The song is really about the difficulties she had saying to someone she was in love with and not actually a relationship.

This song can be interpreted in different ways. I’ve seen most of them saying it’s an abus!ve relationship or panic attacks But I think it’s a girl who has a different perspective on life.
