Yeah this one’s super fun! I’ve got one myself I need to trick out, they definitely don’t crop up as often as they used to

@@Trentabyte Nice find dude, def jealous lol. I’ve been keeping my eyes open for an affordable one for ages & not sure if you were asking me or Po8ster, but I think he’d probably the better choice for the job considering his experience with the 400v. IIRC he has a page on his website with info regarding commissions & such 🙂

@@mark..A Aw man, I feel that. A very good friend gave me a few Casios. I had to sell them about 10 years ago and it’s taken ages to try to hunt them up again 😸

thank you for the video! some of the mods are awesome. i was wondering if you know a way to modify the CT400v in order to externally sync the tempo?
@po8aster2 ай бұрын
@@utube5478 oh that would be a cool mod! Unfortunately I don’t know how, but someone really good at math could maybe find a way to clock an ltc1799 based on an input, but that would end up bending the pitch vs just adjusting the internal tempo.

I have a MT-400V. In the process of trying to get it running. Eevry last cable was desoldred from the boards. A few caps need replacing. Another YT channel (sure we all know it) has a video showing the unit dismantled and cleaned wit hsome great analysis along wit hsome still images. It helped with locating the placement of some cables. Not all though. Do you have any useful documentation online? Perhapos some internal Images? 🍻

Sure thing! Shoot me an email and let me know if there’s any specific spots/connections you need shots of. I haven’t published anything but have plenty of photos from the build I’d be happy to share!

Hello Alex! Can you help me? I bought the CT-410V and I have some RFI and a dead speaker. After a good cleaning, removing rust and putting some grease I lost the last octave: I scratch some conductive paint (for the keys). Any tips to deal with RFI and to restore the conductive paint? Thanks!
@po8aster11 ай бұрын
Hey there! For the RFI, I would check the capacitors around the main power supply as well as the signal path and power around the amplifier to see if anything looks suspicious. Feel free to email me some pics, I'd be happy to take a peek and see if anything jumps out! For the conductive paint, there's this stuff called KeyPad-Fix (or search "remote control button fix paint" for something similar) that works great for repairing that conductive stuff. Depending on how deep the scratches are, it might take a few coats, but I've had good luck with it!

Hi Mr Alex! Really thanks. I'll send you some pictures. I uploaded 3 videos of my casio working... I can hear the pops and cracks on the sound here.@@po8aster
