Zaandvoort in the layout around 1970 is probably the best motorcycle track ever. Closely followed by the Falkenberg circuit in Sweden before the chicanes.

I raced both circuits on a motorcycle and they both got their challenges. Zandvoort is more curvy while Assen is a very fast track. Latest 'upgrades' have made a less interesting track of Assen with straightening Veenslang, de-banking De Bult, etc.

Have to pick Assen since its the only one I've actually been to. Also it had the Verkeerspark back in the past which was fun.

Absolutely Assen for me. The new track really isn't much of its former self, but the bikes racing there have been genuinely wild. From eternal duels to crashes that never happened, to some that defined careers (Mick Doohan primarily), it has a recent history of world-level racing that Zandvoort can't match. I do still dearly miss the older, more road-like versions.

Ciao Herman! 👍 Unfortunately I have never been able to visit these two tracks, but in my eyes it seems the most interesting Zandvoort. Unlike Assen, Zandvoort has a course with elevation changes and two spectacular banking.

Assen of course. It’s a shame the old track (1984-2016) was way faster & more spectacular to watch. But then again, the same can be said of Zandvoort

TT Circuit Assen because as a visitor you can reach the respective 2 wheel or 4 wheel event with your own 2 or 4 wheeler, unlike Zandvoort where only supreme VIPS are allowed to come with their own transportation. So Zandvoort can suck it for being visitor unfriendly. 🤌
