Ma why is my waist bigger even after dividing by 3.. my waist is 32 divided by three 10.6.. after cutting and all I’m getting waist 44 in total plus zipper allowance

What if you want to use an elastic not a zipper will you still divide by 3??

I think a trouser length is wider than a yard..if that is the case, then two trouser length should be enough.

Because it’s a flare pant,if you divide it by more than 3 inches,it’s going to be bigger than your actual waist circumference,unless you want to pleat the excess fabric on the waist.
