Do you have literature recommendations to get to know systemic therapy?

I work in behavioral health individually with child and adolescent clients who vary in motivation for treatment; I am really interested in widening my approach to doing more family work, but parents or guardians often vary in their motivation and commitment as well. How would you suggest going about trying to get entire family systems into the office?

just realizing i never replied, sorry. Depends on the client obviously, but sometimes I have been known to 'increase parents anxiety' by laying out the truth to them (probably only when you are v worried about the child/symptoms). for example: If a kid isn't going to school you explain to parents how this is going to get worse and is depriving them of vital experiences others gain in high school. Shall try make a video for you!
