I’ve played a few yarn chicken games trying to use up partial skeins. There’s always a way to make it work. If I try it and have to frog the whole thing then on the next try I add a couple rows of a contrasting color in the middle of the hung hem and the toes but not the heel so as not to possibly make a bad join on the heel. Heels and I still have an occasional argument, lol

I totally understand that. I also will add rows as stripes at the hem, etc.

I wanted to give an up date. I made my slipper socks with my yarn from Frog It Yarn The machine worked well with both yarns. I wasn’t sure if you had the heel spring on for the whole time,I did. No Lycra. I could not do a gauge swatch so I guessed how many rows to do for the foot length. I also did a reg heel. So-- the next time, I will do a deep heel and I also know how many rows to do. I am wearing them now, they are very comfy😊

I honestly do not use it very often. But I do like that I have it. I just cranked about 3 pairs of Dk weight socks. It does crank fine and I don't have any issues with it. I definitely use my 64 the most.
