Thanks for the great video. Is there any way you could show where on the heat shield you ended up putting the button/knob for controlling the unit? You indicated the heat shield but the video ended and we didn't get a good finishing shot of the button placement. Thanks again!
@sikbaggers Жыл бұрын
I put it on the fire wall not the heat shield. On the right side right behind where your heat shield is on that wall in front of your battery above your transmission. Just stuck it there and really only use it for the on/off function.

As you hooked up the channel 2 to run your saddlebags and front fender, the splitter that you mentioned, did it come with the kit or did you purchase it separately? What other than the kit did you purchase to run all the lights? As for this kit, as you add blade lights, machete lights, fairing turn lights, vents lights; and fork lights how can you add them all together so you keep it clean and how do you have all of them come on red when you press the brake?

Will the app turn all of these lights all red when the brakes are applied?
@sikbaggers4 жыл бұрын
Its not done through the app, however its a wire from the controller you must connect to the brake wire on your bike. To utilize the brake override function connect loose red wire of the controller to the brake light circuit of the motorcycle using supplied posi-tap connector or other suitable method.

@sikbaggers3 жыл бұрын
@@God-fearing3787 Absolutly...everything is plug and play and the wires only go so far as where they get installed. Its more of Tuxedo kit rather than the amazon kits that have 4000 feet of extra wire left over...And the directions are spot on to show you where everything goes. The only two wires you really need to "hookup" are the power and ground to the battery. Everything else is a breeze.

@sikbaggers5 жыл бұрын
@@kmeades43 these are 10s....still behind the fairing...the 12's will be slightly over the fairing.
They are bright.. my bike does look great.. just think the kit is way overpriced for what it is.. I expected end caps for where the wires end.. so I could throw dialectric grease and an end cap to keep the connections nice in case of an add on later.. and as nice is the controller cool how you can cycle thru color and function i had to mount it under the seat.. when wiring a switch to the dash would be way cleaner.. and the app sucks because you have to be connected to that and not the Bluetooth radio so you have to switch back and forth if you want to adjust it..zip ties must be from China half of them broke... I just should have looked into light brands before I dumped just over 450 for the 2 kits..
@sikbaggers3 жыл бұрын
Hey Stephen...sorry to hear about the zip ties and the Bluetooth issue...I never BT my phone to my bike for audio so i didnt notice that..i just load up a thumb drive and plug it in. They are pricey, I agree!
