Cisticola exilis Golden headed cisticola

This is my full edited video in this channel. Golden headed cisticola is a small warbler live mainly in the tall riverine grassland dominated by Saccharum spontenium, kash grass along with Typha, Phragmatis etc. They prey mainly on insects. They have rufous nape, crown, breast, streaked on crown and back, long black tail with narrow buff greyish tip. During breeding season, the crown turned into unstreaked rufous in colour. Though they are considered an least consern species according to IUCN, habitat loss is a major threat to their existence in Tista grassland.
