Citabria wheels swapped out with skis for the winter.
First winter fly-in to the lake turned out great.
Nice fresh snow plus clear and sunny skies make for a perfect day to do some fly-bys and touch and go's!

@@CraveLife it's not the weather I love Alaska I have sence the first time I stepped off the airplane December 1976, I have been to all four corners of Alaska, I still look at my house I built in North Pole Alaska on Google maps but I also crashed in a Chinook helicopter April 1977 two months before my 19th birthday, I went back to flying shortly after healing up, I learned to fly in Alaska and I tell people you learn to fly in Alaska you can fly anywhere and as you know in the1970s we didn't have GPS or instruments like we do now compasses were worthless in a lot of areas as iron or in the mountains would cause compasses to swing off course, I have recovered people from such incidences plus the weather can change so quickly if you don't have the experience you can get into trouble in a blink of an eye, I am not there because my body has been so broken up I served two tours in Alaska as a mechanic, crewchief and flight engineer on Chinook helicopters we flew food and medical supplies when no civilian aircraft would fly when supplies were needed so when people like yourself have You Tube channels like this I can watch with a big smile on my face. Thank you 😊

@Bonnie - Really ? You "like" that disco crap ? Just kidding you. But yeah, I do hate the disco beat. Don't be afraid to tell the Producers and Editors that their music is too loud. How else will they learn how to produce the perfect content for those of us who pay the big bucks to watch their videos...? I tell them when their music choice really sucks and that usually hurts their feelings, but it's always funny when they reply. But I also remind them that they are NOT creating a movie for the big screen and therefore, please don't crank up the music. Try to keep your audio levels equal....or even keep the music track lower than the voice level; if the viewer likes the music, they will raise the level on their system. And then there is one other thing I've noticed about flying videos. It seems that most people would rather hear the plane sounds...engine, radio, wind, squeaks and squawks, etc. And I tend to agree. And also try to keep in mind that your content is going to be played in private homes and there are often other people in the house that don't appreciate getting blasted by loud music OR noise from daddy's computer, who is supposed to be using his headphones but forgot cuz the dog just pissed in his shoes again...
