I’ll take you at your word this is a real question. Shorting stocks has a bad name, but it is essential for markets to work properly. Let’s say there is a company that doesn’t make money. For years. But they tell a good story, and people like the product, and the CEO gives great interviews. Maybe the company is even fraudulent. Or it’s just a poorly run company. What happens? Mom and pop invest in it. It’s a product they know. But professional investors don’t. There’s no money to be made in it, and the pros know it. Who gets hurt when the company goes out of business? Mom and pop. Or, who gets hurt once all the non-investment crowd realize the company will only produce small profits? Again, mom and pop. So how do you keep the price of the stock from getting much higher than the value of the company? Short selling. Now pros can make money by putting downward pressure on the stock price. So pros short the stock and then tell everyone what evidence they have the company is a bad investment. Investors evaluate the evidence, and it keeps unsuspecting people from being swindled.

If S/R level appears on more than one time frame, that level becomes even more RELAVANT.? Say daily trend was up overall(prices marked up now)-- but daily candle now is down over last 2 days or so--- then look for resistance on 4H chart & go short--here 4H resistance level would be A good level (It has decent load of useful data--even institutions/bog boys)-- Sir, I seek your comments/wisdom.
