And I’m the opposite, I absolutely love flying. My uncle is a pilot, and so is one of my exes, so I’ve gotten to do flight simulations in their training center, which feels so realistic!! I fly often and whenever I’m not in a plane, I miss it. I love the initial ascent into the sky, feels like a rollercoaster to me. I love the turbulence, the bumpier the better! It helps knowing the turbulence is not dangerous to the plane, as long as you are buckled in your seat, you’ll be safe. I’m sorry for people who have anxiety flying, I have a similar anxiety when it comes to choppy waters. I hate being in a small boat in the middle of the ocean, that’s my biggest fear.

It was so much better flying out west versus what we called the ‘Northeast Shuffle’. Out west, it was fewer flights, longer legs, and new, cool things to see. Now, I miss it all though, and I would very much enjoy a day with a modern jet doing the ‘Northeast Shuffle’. When one produces a KZbin aviation channel, by default you have become a mentor to all who subscribe and watch your video. Your professionalism counts. It reinforces everything we in aviation have been taught. It validates standards, policy, and procedure. Proper readback to ATC instructions is critical to safety. One will rarely hear a controller instruct a pilot to climb and maintain 230. They will always instruct you to climb and maintain “Flight Level 230”. They are professionals of their trade and as pilots; we too must strive to be the same - on every flight.

I have no absolutely no idea what anyone is saying over the radio😂 Flying and dealing with air traffic control seems complicated but really cool at the same time.
@jordanwhite85675 ай бұрын
I’m not a pilot but I think most of it is like “maintain this altitude, change your direction to this degree, swap your radio frequency to the next station” etc. definitely seems like it would be overwhelming to manage at first but I’m sure they do it without even thinking half the time once they got it down pat

my first view on seeing a pilot fly a jet! What a thrill ! almost like i was flying the jet! Seeing how complex and well trained a pilot must be to perform such a great job flying a jet and landing safely!! How cool is this? Thanks for sharing your skills to the world!

@@JoeChanik that is moderate chop. most pilots only experience severe maybe once in their life. also remember in little toy airplanes bounce around more than big ones.

As a kid, we had an evening flight back to Denver Stapleton from LAX in a 727 and it was so horribly bumpy coming into Denver, everyone applauded when we landed.
