Cities across U.S. run out of funding to shelter migrants

Over 100 asylum seekers in Seattle were forced to sleep in tents in a public park after government funding for their temporary shelter ran out. Denver, Boston, and New York are also putting limits on how long migrants can stay in emergency shelters.

Worked her way up as top seamstress making up to $100 a day in 70s. Retired a very wealthy woman with investment properties thanks t9 grandad. American dream is long dead. The world leaders (we.f) already mentioned this intention and to replace more of us with robots so dont expect these nice folks to go away anytime soon. Also, I expect them to be conscripted into our military due to the lack of new eligible recruits. The Venezuelan mother of ADULT children haven't gone to school in 10 years. Parents have had to PAY TUITION in Venezuela for the past decade. They finished elementary school in Spanish and didn't speak, read, or write English. They could ALL dedicate themselves to learning English on the many KZbin platforms. I was forgetting my French skills over the last decade when I retired from nursing. I went on a French learning site, and in two months, I was fluent again. They need to try to help themselves or just sneak into Canada or Mexico. 😉

Learning conversational language is important. Heard of similar stories in Canada where Refugees left Canada after a few years because they were having hard time integrating and finding jobs. And before they came to Canada, they lived in Switzerland or other European countries. The rent and expenses were all paid for 1-2 years and after the money ran out they left for US or Europe to try what others have to offer. Some of them even got rented hotels for a year. And they were shopping for fancy shoes and phones with the free money. They were also enrolled into language schools by the government and some learnt a bit of English/ French but many were busy exploring the northern beauty and attendance was very low among 20+ ages.
