Just as an fyi there is a much quicker way to delete trees. Select the tree brush, select "multiple", turn off "only same type" under snapping, then just hold right mouse and drag gone gone gone.

I just had a huge Tornado sweep through my 260k city, destroyed 180 buildings, lots of high rises and killed about 300 people. Its pretty epic to see the usually low usage emergency services ramp up 110% to save as many people as possible. I can tell you guys, disaster infrastructure is worth it!

Brilliant line at 2:43:30 'Some people just like to be unhappy all the time' (complaing about the game). Yes indeed... but way to polite Biffa :) Junst winging dorks is more apt. I actually saw someone online complaining the other day about how the 2,500 extra assets they will be giving away free 'soon' should have been included at release. Honestly, these people must be clueless :) I am ecstatic about all the improvements and add on stuff we are getting down the line. This game is going to mature very nicely.

I have discovered that when you're zoning for commercial, try to always zone where the tiles are turning ORANGE, which means they'll be getting HIGH TRAFFIC OF CUSTOMERS through their stores. I've been doing this throughout my city, and so far, I have not been getting ANY "not enough customers" bubbles popping up. So, the very moment you're allowed to start placing MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL, make sure you place that as close to all your commercial stuff as possible, so that they'll get LOTS OF CUSTOMERS.

Where you have the roads running to a dead end and footpaths running behind the houses, you should really link the dead end of the road up to the footpaths so that people can use them without having to walk all the way to the far end of the road to then double back on themselves.

Really not sure how you figure selling power is cheesy when it's one of the most realistic features of CS2 ... exporting power is something that goes on all the time and France exported 17.6 terawatt/hrs during the first **half** of this year to Great Britain and Italy and that's across international borders much less between US states and counties.

I'd guess you'd need to place the invisible parking spots in the parking lot decals, but without overlap it won't work. I'm surprised you like that manicured grass look. The existing grass looks so much more healthy and lush. That is one thing I love about these games.. every person can make their ideal, without limiting others from theirs.

I'm enjoying being on this CS2 journey with you and your community, Biffa. The beginning of this video was hilarious, and I appreciate that you're very transparent with your settings and the shortcomings of the game. Excited to see your take on the most recent patch. I still haven't tried it, but apparently it solved the Not Enough Customers bug, but also introduced a new one where offices go broke and bankrupt you. Hopefully another hotfix is on the way soon!

Setting the parking fees and roadside parking skyrocketed my budget well into the green as I went into higher densities. I lowered the rate on the decks and raised fees on roadside. 3 arrows up

Thanks for a great live stream, very informative, I've got a RTX 4060 ti oc edition card but I wasn't getting great graphics in CS2 but I've now changed the settings to match yours and now the graphics are great. Don't think we should change settings on high end graphics cards though. 😃

The problem with the wonky roads (around 21:00 min) is that you had existing buildings from the previous road and didn't deactivated the street building option "snap to building" :)

I have not changed settings and mostly over 60fps easy, have yet to go under 30fps with alot of people in high movement area, maybe cpu also has a bit to do with it? Intel rather than amd?

You should create a new streaming game. You come up with different things to do every time you take a sip of tea. I.e. when you take a sip of tea, a generator will tell you what to build next such as a round about, or a low density housing, or maybe add a service or a bus route

Hey Biffa, Love the content, I have noticed that there is an issue with assests IE parks and dog parks waterparks. do you know if there is going to be a fix with regards to the population actually using them. I know in Cities skylines at least when you place a park the in game people actually use them. just frustrating placing items and you dont see them used.

The only thing I don’t “like” about the water is if you burrows down to make a lake or pond it doesn’t fill with water even though you can see water on the sides. Miss the tool to ad a water source like in CS1. Maybe someday water will flow like CS1. #GreatGame #CS2 #Biffa #StreamerDeluxe

I understand optimisation took a little longer than expected, but releasing a game that is unbalanced economically (which is a main feature of a city builder surely) as well as having bugs effect other main systems (like the not enough customers making commercial break, which yes has just been patched) doesnt make sense to me. This game was tested to death before release and given to many creators. How can a launch be this messy?

I currently have an apple desktop from 2017 and have been mostly satisfied with CS1 but there are some start up issues and lagging whenever I reach a pop of 20-40k. I use all the major dlc. At default settings. Apple graphics brilliant. Imputed crashes a few times before I can get it to run smoothly-. It always but most of the time. Takes forever to load. So I’m the market for a gaming computer but prefer to stick with apple as the monitors are brilliant. And I use it for other things. I don’t k ow anything about memory and ram and storage so I don’t understand the number jargon you use. I will eventually buy CS2 but I want a a machine that is more than enough for both games on my computer. Can anyone recommend the kind of Mac I need and specs? And or pc specs… thanks

So you are getting 60 fps with a 4090 playing on a sub 10k city are you concerned that you will be limited to small city's ? Also when you start adding mods and assets will you still be happy with the current performance?

Fps drops significantly when I tried 245k cities, I'm hoping performance can be improved a lot. No idea if mods and assets will affect CPU usage as that's what's getting hammered on larger cities 👍

People would have still moaned regardless. The biggest issue here is that people were happy to drop £1600 on a 4090 then expected it to do everything all the time. Folk have been given an easy time of things lately, no one remember crysis? No top end hardware ran that well for years. So people need to stop buying over priced hardware, they need to stop making over priced hardware and people need to have better expectations.

If instead of wages going up, prices went down, then everyone's income would spread further and it wouldn't lead to inflation hikes. Price shifting due to demand is natural and self corrects so long as the company has enough competition. (rl, not sure of game) As for University/College. We need to stop pushing them for careers which do not actually need it. It's caused nothing but problems (not to mention a ton of useless degrees which don't truly help the people, but do empty the pockets of the people) More apprenticeships.

A year from now, that's how long I think it will take them to get this game into a proper playable state and with good fps, for higher specc pc's like mine...I' ve been told once you hit 300,000 the game turns into a truly horrible stutter fest and becomes unplayable.

the traffic in my city is driving me crazy their behaviour is so damn stupid they do u turn when they are not allowed to. The way they change lanes is messed up they stop the entire traffic just to change lane and they stop for no reason sometimes and other things... i prefer cs 1 over this garbage of game

I find 4k more bragging rights than anything actually required for a pleasant experience. Choosing to play with maxed out settings and then whining about performance is absurd. They chose the maxed out settings. Yes glitches need fixing, and basic streamlining/optimization (like every game when it first comes out)..People seriously need to learn how to adjust settings to min max performance/quality. It's not brain science. A touch of effort to learn basics will make a world of difference. Whining that it doesn't fix itself doesn't help anyone. If you want to not bother, then simply use a console. The entire point of PC gaming is having flexibility and being able to fine tune.
