I think the rail yard is designed for the double track in the middle to replace the existing double rail track, in other words to overlap and let normal rail traffic to pass through the rail yard. This way it will waste less space and the other train tracks will be easier to curve into the main rail track.

The Fact that the Botanical Garden (and many more buildings) have so much detail inside them is amazing. I would guess that over 90% of players would probably never try to go inside those buildings but its still there. Very impressive although not necessary

The low usage of the buses is because there wasnt enough buses for them to use it as well of course as your $50 ticket more buses make them faster and with cs2 will get more usage

Love your channel mate, I think the only criticism of watching CS2 is that it's hard to get a "feel" for the city that's being built.....in no way your fault, I don't know if the snow isn't helping or the fact that there's no visual mods or maybe whenever in build mode it shows you the coloured zoning squares under the building. Like I say, that's constructive criticism of the game not you, I'll still watch it regardless!

As of this posting, 2023-10-28, there is a confirmed bug (by CO) that exporting out of cargo train, sea and air do not work. The trucks come in to fill the warehouse with excess goods but nothing is ever shipped out. That's the general consensus of the bug. This is not you Biffa, but the game itself. The devs are investigating and hope to have a patch soon.

We are aware of this and currently investigating these issues: City services only trade with outside connections, even when storage companies in your city have the resources they need. They should of course be able to purchase the resources your city produces locally. Harbors are mainly trading with your city’s storage companies, not other zoned buildings or city services. As you would expect, they should be able to trade with all zoned buildings and services, allowing your city to import and export through them. We’re investigating reports that indicate the cargo terminal is affected by the same or an issue similar to the harbors. It’s also worth noting that transportation distance affects costs. We expect that your businesses will prefer the closest storage facilities over a further away harbor/cargo terminal, however, that does not explain the reports we’re seeing. I want to apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your reports. The information you provide us is very valuable in narrowing down these issues, and should you encounter any other issues or unexpected behavior, please make sure to report them on our support forum. Through experimentation, I've found out that if you cut the tracks down by 5 meters, you can directly cross over them with a road on ground level.

Biffa- if you’re looking for realistic one track train lines: Have 2 track main lines where it’s busy Have 1 track dedicated for local traffic- usually internal. Add some 2 track sections for passing sidings. Junctions should be a single track extending from the double main (so 3 tracks) and branch your things off of that- cargo stations, yards etc. then reattach that line (called the yard lead) back to the main

The detail in CS2 is just phenomenal! One suggestion for this city would be to add a bus line from the railway station to the main part of the city - maybe that could run to the tower blocks rather than diverting the purple route - I'm sure that would increase the number of people travelling by train, and reduce traffic on the roads.

Hi Biffa. A bit of story time based on the end of this video, which is another great video, so thank you for that. I was worried about my potato running the game. It's a 4 year old pc I built to be higher end, but in today's technology most likely a mid range. When I got the game I loaded it up just to see. A lot of stuttering, lags, and freezes. So I disconnected everything, took it apart and started taking notes for new parts. Kind of wishlist mostly but, I found the problem and solved most of everything. When I built this rig, it speced out as needing a 1000w psu. The psu I bought was dead out of the box. So I stuck in the old 750w I had on hand from the old rig. When I started it up everything seemed to be running ok so over time, I just simply forgot the psu issue. When I saw the psu I decided to start there. I bought a brand new 1000w, it was only around $140 US, shipping will add on to that of course, I installed it. Now I can play Cities 2 almost no problems. I do have everything turned down, but I'm ok with that. So my adivice to all those angry, start small. It may just be that you only need to upgraded a PSU. I only follow 3 Cities creators so I think I'll paste this to the others as well.

Biffa, I love the output you make for Cities Skylines 2. The game for me is great apart from the couple of crashes per session - but I save regularly, so not too much of a hinderance due to the fast load speed. That traffic jam: If I saw that right, the one on the big roundabout was only the backing up of the traffic jam that was going on on the crossing around the corner from the next crossing from the roundabout. So, Biffa would've probably only needed to fix that small crossing, putting in a roundabout there (not on the adjacent crossing!) or probably only deleting the raffic lights.

Hey Biffa. Responding to your comments on the hate comments. I couldn't agree more. It seems to be the fashion today that a new game is released and the hate community responds in force. I believe it is due to some youtubers who specialize in critiquing games and unforunately they have a bigger audience when they spam hate rather than spam goodness. I block these haters as soon as I can. Just some kind words. I watch your videos because well, they are awesome. If you might have noticed, when using the Cargo Train Terminal, the trains go in and out the same way. This means that the locomotives will be on the wrong side of the train half the time (the game unfortunatly doesn't shunt the locomotives). You can fix this by creating the illusion of shunting and making use of the one way tracks and a stretch of two-way track. The train will back out the cargo terminal, follows the one way track to a 90 degree two-way track and go out in the direction of its destination via an one-way track out to the main railtrack. Of course coming in you will have the use the one way track also, to create a sort of triangel of one-way tracks. Hope this makes sense ;) And what @billyswong said earlier is correct, the double track in the rail yard is the same as the most far one from the stationbuilding in the passenger station, its a go-through track. Love the game btw, and allthough my computer doesn't appreciate playing at on full power, turning down a few settings makes the game enjoyable enough till te issues are esolved or I buy a better system ;)

I did have an issue with this game at first. It kept causing my device to reboot on its own, however I found a way to help with that. Since finding a fix for it, I haven’t had much issues with the game. It does occasionally crash but when it doesn’t, I have a blast playing this game. Of course since it came out there are bugs that hopefully get fixed. And I’m more than ready for mods. Other than those complaints, I really do love the game. I enjoy watching your videos Biffa, they are fun, entertaining, and very helpful!
